Frequently asked questions
- Is Desmos really free?
- Yes. The Free plan includes up to 20 entries and 50 AI messages per month, plus unlimited Markdown export. Upgrade to Pro when you need more.
- Where is my data stored?
- On Free, completed entries and chat history stay on this device only—we do not keep a copy on our servers. On Pro, your brag document syncs to encrypted cloud backup; only someone with your 12-word recovery phrase can read it (including us). When you send a chat message, the AI reads that text for that turn only. We do not use your content to train models.
- Can I export my document anytime?
- Yes. Markdown export is included for everyone. Pro also exports Word (.docx) and PDF. Your brag document is yours — no lock-in.
- Will you train AI on my accomplishments?
- When you send a chat message, the AI reads that text to structure your entry for that turn. We do not use your career content to train AI models, and we do not send it to third-party analytics.
