Desmos collects career accomplishments that you choose to enter. This data is sensitive, and we treat it accordingly. On Free, your entries and chat history stay on this device only. On Pro, your document syncs to encrypted cloud backup and you can open it on other devices with your 12-word recovery phrase—Desmos cannot read that backup without it.

When you use Desmos, you create an account with your email or Google sign-in. You provide text describing your work accomplishments, which we process to extract structured entries and generate follow-up questions.

If you contact us for support, we may collect your email address and message content solely to respond to your request.

Your content powers the chat experience — parsing entries, asking clarifying questions, and generating exports. Each message you send is read by our AI provider for that turn only. We do not use your accomplishments to train AI models.

We do not sell your data. We do not share your content with third-party analytics or advertising services.

On Pro, your brag document is encrypted on your device with a recovery phrase before upload using AES-GCM. Only you can decrypt cloud backups — Desmos cannot read them without your 12-word phrase. Only ciphertext is stored in our database (Supabase). Data is transmitted over TLS.

We do not log plaintext career content on our servers.

You can export your brag document at any time. You can delete local cache by clearing your browser storage. You can delete your account and all server-stored encrypted data from Settings in the app.
